Egypt hosts CEO Women Conference with 22 countries to strengthen economic relations

The CEO Women Conference recently held its highly anticipated second edition, which was under the patronage of the Prime Minister and sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism and the National Council for Women. The event featured the participation of prominent figures, including Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Christina Arab, representative of the United Nations, and Professor Dr. Hani Mostafa, the executive director of Smart Digital Green SDG.

Taking place on October 24, the conference aimed to address crucial economic issues at regional, Arab, and international levels. It attracted female executives from major international economic companies and brought together over 200 CEOs and leaders from both the government and private sectors.

The CEO Women Conference is an annual event that aims to strengthen economic ties among businesswomen and female executives in major economic establishments worldwide and in Africa. Its primary objectives are to facilitate knowledge transfer and highlight success stories.

The conference featured four important discussion panels covering topics such as the impact of artificial intelligence on various economic sectors, women’s executive leadership in global companies, sustainable financing for women’s projects, and education and qualification mechanisms for women in executive leadership.

Mona Mourad, founder and CEO of the CEO Women Conference, shared her vision for the event, stating, “The second edition of the conference focuses on the development and growth of diverse economic sectors, thanks to Arab women whose leadership and management skills have led to remarkable success. Our goal is for this conference to become an international platform that brings together decision-makers from regional and global levels to discuss important issues and advancements achieved by Arabian women in the economic field.”

Mourad also highlighted the significant challenges faced by women in executive leadership, especially in the current world circumstances of wars, inflation, and economic crises resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, the conference will explore topics such as the future of the global economy and the role of artificial intelligence in various economic fields.

It is worth mentioning that the first edition of the CEO Women Conference, organized by ON AIR Group, garnered substantial attendance and engagement from the Arab and international community. Female CEOs, women leaders, and executives from both governmental and private sectors actively participated in the event.
