Carrefour Egypt marks 19 years of delivering exceptional value and unparalleled in-store and online experiences to the Egyptian community with a host of generous promotions and exclusive offers available from December 22, 2021, to February 14, 2022.
Committed to prioritising the health and wellbeing of all, the brand has also extended its anniversary period from 40 days to 55 days to provide customers with enough time to capitalise on the promotions while managing customer traffic to maintain a safe shopping environment.
In a further step to help customers enjoy a seamless and safe shopping experience during the busier period, Carrefour has set up new external collection points for high demand items. Customers can also save time and follow social distancing requirements by taking advantage of free delivery on all online offers during the campaign duration.
Complementing its already stringent health and hygiene measures, Carrefour requires all customers and colleagues to wear masks and abide by social distancing markers at all times when in-store. Additionally, the retail leader continues to adopt extensive sanitisation methods, such as supervised trolley and alley sanitisation, hourly sanitisation across stores and stationing hand sanitiser dispensers at store entrances, fresh food sections, and cash counters.
Further ensuring a safe environment for all, Carrefour has partnered with the Ministry of Health to roll out an in-store vaccination campaign for customers starting mid-December, having previously launched the campaign for employees.
With demand set to rise during the promotion period, Carrefour is working closely with its strong network of local suppliers to maintain stock levels online and in-store and to preserve price stability for customers — guaranteeing value for everyone.
As a responsible member of the community, Carrefour is dedicated to maintaining stringent hygiene standards, processes and policies during this time as it continues to encourage the public to shop responsibly.
It was launched in the region in 1995 by UAE-based Majid Al Futtaim, which is the exclusive franchisee to operate Carrefour in over 30 countries across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, and fully owns the operations in the region.
