CAIRO: A report carried out by Middlesbrough’s official website stated that Ahmed “Mido Hossam has a better scoring record than Wigan Atheltic’s Amr Zaki.

Zaki is currently the Premiership’s top scorer with eight goals, but the report mentions that Mido’s four league strikes were scored in less playing minutes than Zaki’s.

Coming on and off the bench in recent weeks, Mido has played less than half the time Zaki featured for Wigan.

The report adds that Mido takes an average of 108 minutes to score one goal, whereas Zaki hits the net on an average of one goal every 121 minutes.

Mido’s record is better than Jermain Defoe, Gabriel Agbonlahor, Emmanuel Adebayor and John Carew, who all scored more than the former Spurs striker so far in the season.

It’s worth noting that while Mido has been fighting for a regular place in Boro’s attack, Zaki is a first team choice at Wigan.
