Aman for e-payment solutions aims to penetrate the governmental sector and expand the services it provides to it. The company believes that the market can absorb over 500,000 points of sale (POS).

Aman CEO Mohamed Wahby said that the company strives to offer more efficient financial services and products to all societal segments, especially citizens that do not deal with banks, through providing them with efficient financial services at affordable prices that save them time and effort.

He pointed out that the company aims to deliver financial services to all sectors in cooperation with mobile operators and Egyptian banks.

He hinted that the electronic payments market can absorb over 500,000 POS nationwide, adding that the company aims to reach 70,000 POS in the coming years, according to market studies.

He explained that Aman operates in accordance with the government’s policies to provide the competitive environment needed to encourage non-bank institutions to innovate and expand opportunities in providing financial services to all societal segments.

According to Wahby, Aman is a company that provides financial solutions with the latest technology to help push forward the e-payment market, increase the size of electronic collection, and drive growth forward.

Aman was able to set up 15 distribution offices across Egypt’s governorates, as part of its plan to provide e-payment solutions.

The company is now offering bill payments for the three mobile operators—Vodafone, Etisalat, and Orange—as well as internet bills.

Wahby said that Aman is part of an ambitious expansion strategy to push and promote financial inclusion, out of belief in its impact on economic stability. “The company aims to create a society that does not use banknotes,” he stressed.

Moreover, he noted that Aman does not deal, primarily, with individuals, but rather bases its strategy on increasing cooperation with the governmental sector, including the ministries of electricity and communications to speed up the collection of government dues, in addition to banks and companies.

He stressed the importance of keeping up with the needs of clients and enabling them to conduct their transactions through POS around Egypt and the mobile app and website, adding that all these methods are safe, secure, and easy.

He pointed out that the company is currently conducting a series of negotiations with several banks to sign protocol agreements in the coming period and increase the base of services Aman offers its clients.

Furthermore, Aman will be holding awareness campaigns to citizens to spread the culture of dealing with e-payment solutions and reassure citizens of the new methods that rely on international high standards.
