2 bombs explode in front of school in Giza

Two improvised explosive devices went off Saturday morning in front of Ahmed Orabi School, close to Imbaba police station in Giza, state TV reported.

No causalities were reported as a result of the explosions.

Bomb explosions have been on the rise in governorates across Egypt since the ouster of former president Mohamed Morsi in July 2013, with the highest frequency of attacks takes place in North Sinai, followed by Greater Cairo and other governorates.

On 2 April, two bombs were dismantled in Beheira. A day earlier, a bomb was went off as it was being manufactured resulting in the death of three militants and the collapse of their house in Sharqeya.
