Chairperson of The Marketing House, Mai El-Nahrawy, said that the company is organizing the International Conference on Infertility and In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), which will be hosted by Alexandria on Thursday, October 1, in cooperation with the Mediterranean Society, marking the conference’s return to Egypt after an absence of nearly 20 years.
El-Nahrawy explained that the conference will be chaired by Sherif Basha, Chair of the health committee at the House of Representatives, with the participation of leading specialists and experts in infertility treatment and IVF, alongside a distinguished group of prominent physicians and scientists from Egypt and several countries around the world.
She said that the conference’s return to Egypt represents a significant event on both the medical and tourism fronts, particularly in light of the broad international participation and the opportunity it provides to exchange expertise and explore the latest scientific developments in infertility treatment and IVF.
The Chairwoman of The Marketing House said the two-day conference in Alexandria will bring together leading infertility and IVF specialists from Egypt, Arab and Mediterranean countries, the US, and the UK to discuss the latest medical advances and exchange expertise.
Alexandria Brings Medicine and Tourism Together
El-Nahrawy added that choosing Alexandria to host the conference carries special significance, given the city’s diverse tourism, cultural, and recreational attractions, in addition to its distinguished location on the Mediterranean coast.
She emphasized that hosting an international conference of this scale in Alexandria represents an opportunity to showcase the city’s unique assets to participating delegations and experts from around the world, supporting efforts to promote Egypt as a tourism destination.
She pointed out that conference tourism represents an important avenue for promoting Egyptian cities and tourism destinations, particularly when conferences are linked to international events that bring together prominent specialists and experts.
She explained that, drawing on its expertise in event organization, the company works to present the conference in a way that reflects the importance of the event and maximizes its benefits on both the scientific and tourism levels, while providing an integrated experience for participating delegations.
The conference’s closing ceremony will be attended by Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Higher Education Minister Abdel Aziz Konsowa, Alexandria Governor Ahmed Attia, and Alexandria University Acting President Ahmed Abdel Hakim.
