Innovo Build and Redcon Construction have formed a strategic alliance to execute infrastructure and contracting works for the DP03 East package at the Wadi Yam project in Ras El Hekma on Egypt’s North Coast, with the contract valued at more than EGP 12bn.

The alliance secured the contract through a competitive tender, based on the partners’ technical capabilities and track records in delivering large-scale construction projects.

The DP03 East package covers a built-up area of approximately 323,000 sqm and is scheduled for completion within 21 months.

The scope includes more than 660 residential units, comprising standalone villas and townhouses, as well as public service facilities, lakes, a commercial mall, landscaping, and road paving works.

The partnership combines Redcon Construction’s more than three decades of experience in the Egyptian market with Innovo Build’s international project delivery capabilities across four continents.

Mohamed Gamal, Managing Director of Innovo Build, said the alliance aims to bring international expertise and sustainable construction technologies to the Egyptian market.

He added that the partnership on Wadi Yam is intended to combine regional capabilities with local expertise while improving efficiency in the execution of large-scale developments.

Amal Abdel Wahed, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of Redcon Construction, said securing the contract reflects the technical capabilities and track record of the Innovo-Redcon alliance in delivering complex projects with specialised requirements.

The partners said the alliance will also apply sustainable construction practices and advanced engineering solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of large-scale urban developments.

Innovo operates across the built environment, with activities spanning design, engineering, construction, development, infrastructure, and project financing.

The company is headquartered in London and has offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Canada, Egypt, and Senegal.
