Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi renewed, on Sunday, the tenure of Osama Rabie’s chairpersonship of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) and Mohamed Omran’s chairpersonship of the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) for a one-year term.
Osama Rabie, has been serving as the SCA’s chairperson since August 2019. While Omran assumed FRA’s chairpersonship in August 2017.
Also on Sunday, Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly extended the tenure of Egyptian Exchange (EGX) Chairperson Mohamed Farid for further four years. Farid assumed his position in August 2017, succeeding Mohamed Omran whose term had expired.
