Arab African International Bank (AAIB) has expanded its employee training framework over the past three years to prepare more than 3,000 staff members for future leadership roles and develop the next generation of CEOs, the bank said.
The bank recently marked the graduation of members of its senior management team from Harvard Business School’s Senior Executive Leadership Program.
“AAIB is a destination for learning and development. When an opportunity presents itself, be ready,” AAIB’s vice chairman and managing director said during the celebration.
Arab African International Bank’s expanded educational framework provides employees with technology and innovation learning opportunities through the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), alongside access to Udemy Business, an artificial intelligence-powered digital learning platform.
To complement external partnerships, AAIB has launched several internally developed initiatives. These include the AI Champions Program, the Gamified Simulation League, specialised academies, and an internal rotation programme named “The Catalyst”.
The Arab African International Bank’s training agenda also incorporates interactive experiences focused on exploring how artificial intelligence can enhance the workplace, which are designed to reinforce critical thinking and informed decision-making among employees.
