Benya, the company behind communications infrastructure and digital transformation in Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East, has announced the launch of its Global Advisory Board (GAB).

The board comes as part of the company’s future vision, which is based on the use of the best competencies in various business sectors.

This step also comes in light of the growth in the company’s business volume, and the increase in the number of mega projects in which it participates which require the presence of a global advisory council. These projects will be able to benefit from the experience gained by the council, which will be positively reflected in the efficient implementation of current and future projects.

The new advisory board will enhance the company’s vision and future plans, by providing advice to the company’s leadership, and exchanging views with international experts.

The board includes: Lacina Koné, Director-General of Smart Africa; Hisham Makkawi, former Regional President of British Petroleum (BP) North Africa; and Vincenzo Nesci, former regional president of Alcatel-Lucent.

Ahmed Makki, Chairperson and CEO of Benya, said that the global advisory board is an important step to enhancing the company’s vision in the future and to support its pioneering role. At the same time, it will help the company maintain the required growth rates, which will contribute to strengthening its position as a preferred partner for implementing digital transformation operations in Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East.
