The Malaysian carmaker Proton surprised the market and raised the prices of both models Gen 2 and Persona by EGP 31,000. The price of the first categories of both models now amounts to EGP 153,900 and the second category to EGP 159,900.
Proton had kept its prices unchanged in May.
In April, Proton had reduced the prices of Gen 2 and Persona by EGP 6,000 each.
