The management of the Cairo Marriott Hotel organized two entertaining iftar parties for more than 250 children in total. Of those children, 100 are from the AFNCI (Association of Friends of the National Cancer Institute) and 150 of them are orphans and homeless children who were accompanied by their foster parents from the SOS village.

These children have very little in their daily lives and this iftar meal was much appreciated, making them feel like they are part of a bigger community that cares.

The children enjoyed the iftar, the live entertainment, the face painting and spent the whole night playing and singing. The left reluctantly and asked when the next party will take place.
