Ghoneim Developments Group (GDG) has launched The One, a mixed-use development in Mokattam, Cairo, comprising retail, medical and administrative units.
The project was unveiled at an event held on October 13 at the Triumph Luxury Hotel in Katameya, attended by guests and featuring a performance by Egyptian singer Tamer Hosny.
Islam Ghoneim, CEO of Ghoneim Developments Group, said the project was designed to accommodate different activities within one development, including retail, healthcare and workplaces.
The One adds to the group’s real estate portfolio, bringing together commercial, medical and administrative uses in a single project in Mokattam.
Upper Mokattam has attracted growing interest from real estate developers, with projects combining residential, commercial and service activities. Among them is The Novelist, a development spanning more than 30 feddans and comprising 1,694 residential units, with views of New Mokattam Corniche and the Abdel Meguid Mahmoud Axis.
Ghoneim Developments Group traces its roots to 1968 and has experience across several sectors, including contracting, infrastructure and electromechanical works. The group has since expanded its activities into real estate development.
