Al Brolosy Development has signed an agreement with Saudi Arabia’s BAAN Holding to provide hotel management, operational, and technical services for the hospitality component of its Sana Towers project in New Mansoura, marking a step toward the city’s first five-star hotel.
Ghanem Al Brolosy, Founder and Partner of Al Brolosy Development, said the decision to include a five-star hotel within Sana Towers followed market studies indicating growing demand for high-end hospitality services across the Nile Delta. He added that New Mansoura is emerging as a key coastal city and that the project aims to help address the limited supply of quality hotel accommodation while supporting Egypt’s efforts to diversify its tourism destinations.
He noted that the company appointed iBrand Business Consultancy as the project’s strategic advisor to conduct market and feasibility studies and assist in selecting an experienced hotel operator.
Meanwhile, Salah Al Brolosy, Founder and Partner of Al Brolosy Development, said that successful mixed-use developments increasingly depend on partnerships with specialized operators and consultants.
He added that BAAN Holding was selected based on its experience in hotel management, while iBrand played a key role in structuring the project’s development strategy and identifying the appropriate operating model.
He revealed that Sana Towers represents investments exceeding EGP 6bn and is being developed on a built-up area of approximately 98,000 sqm. The mixed-use project will include retail, hospitality, and leisure components, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and featuring a pedestrian promenade connecting the development with New Mansoura’s beachfront district.
For his part, Fahad Al Obailan, CEO and Board Member of BAAN Holding, stated that Egypt’s tourism and hospitality sectors continue to attract investment amid government efforts to expand tourism infrastructure and increase visitor arrivals.
He noted that the agreement marks BAAN Holding’s entry into the New Mansoura market and forms part of the company’s broader expansion strategy in Egypt, particularly in newly developed cities.
Al Obailan added that BAAN Holding will oversee the hotel’s technical development and operational planning, including pre-opening preparations, operational strategies, soft-launch management, and negotiations related to the selection of an international hotel brand.
Eman Salah, CEO of iBrand Business Consultancy, said the firm conducted market, feasibility, and operational studies for the project and facilitated the partnership between the developer and the hotel operator.
She noted that the studies identified a shortage of quality hotel accommodation across the Nile Delta, supporting the inclusion of a hospitality component within Sana Towers.
