Prime Hills Developments launches Prime Plaza Mall October with EGP 2.5bn investments

Prime Hills Developments has announced the launch of Prime Plaza Mall October, a mixed-use development comprising commercial, hospitality, medical, and administrative components, with total investments estimated at EGP 2.5bn.

The project is located on the Central Axis in 6th of October City and overlooks the Monorail Station, with direct access to major roads and transportation routes.

Speaking during the project’s launch event, Gomaa Marouf, Chairperson of Prime Hills Developments, said: “We were committed to creating a development that combines a strategic location, contemporary design, and professional operations.”

Marouf noted that the company had selected specialised partners for the project’s various components. He added that Prime Hills Developments is also evaluating expansion opportunities in West Cairo and the North Coast as part of its growth plans.

According to Mohamed Awad Habib, Chief Commercial Officer of Prime Hills Developments, the project spans a total area of 5,520 sqm and consists of a ground floor and six upper levels. The development includes hospitality suites, retail units, medical clinics, and administrative offices, with unit sizes starting from 24 sqm.

Habib said the company is targeting project delivery within 36 months of launch. He added that the master plan was prepared by ADC Architecture and Design Consultants.

“Prime Plaza Mall October enjoys a prime location on the Central Axis and is surrounded by a large residential catchment area,” Habib said. He added that the company expects the project’s operating partnerships to support its performance after launch.

As part of the launch event, Prime Hills Developments signed several agreements with companies responsible for managing and operating different components of the development.

For the medical component, the company appointed Tashawer Healthcare Management Consultancy. Khaled Samir, Chairperson of Tashawer Healthcare Management, said the partnership is based on a shared vision to establish an integrated healthcare environment within the project.

Samir added that Tashawer will focus on attracting doctors and specialised medical entities while implementing operational and quality management systems for the medical facilities.

For the hospitality component, Prime Hills Developments signed an agreement with Gloria Hotels & Resorts. Hesham Mourad, Executive Vice President of Gloria Hotels & Resorts, said demand for professionally managed serviced apartments and hotel units has been increasing in the Egyptian market.

He added that the involvement of an international hospitality operator is expected to support service standards and operational efficiency within the project.

On the operations side, Prime Hills Developments appointed Brain 2 Fact to manage the development. Diya Boulos, Founder of Brain 2 Fact, said the company will implement an operational framework covering commercial planning and facilities management, in cooperation with WEFIX UAE, which will serve as the facilities management consultant.

Boulos added that the objective is to ensure efficient operations and maintain the long-term performance of the asset through professional management practices.

Prime Hills Developments said Prime Plaza Mall October forms part of its strategy to expand its portfolio of mixed-use developments and strengthen its presence in key growth areas across Egypt.
