Nazif says $10 bln UAE investments volume in Egypt

Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif said that the volume of UAE investments in Egypt has reached $10 billion, reported the State Information Service.

Nazif met with UAE Economy Minister Sultan bin Said Al-Mansouri in the presence of Rachid Mohamed Rachid, minister of trade and industry and acting investment minister.

Rachid met with Al-Mansouri to discuss mechanisms for fostering economic cooperation with the UAE in the coming period as well as ways to lure its companies to contribute to development projects in Egypt in the sectors of industry, agricultural development, infrastructure and urban expansion.

The two agreed to form an Egyptian-UAE working group to discuss obstacles facing investment projects in both countries, which would convene every three months.
