Semak Pharmaceutical Group plans to double its current investment volume in 2027, with an expansion strategy focused on increasing production capacity, broadening its personal care portfolio and expanding distribution across Egyptian pharmacies.
The company’s expansion plans centre on its manufacturing facility, Brand FSC (Brand Pharma), in Fayoum, which spans approximately 15,600 sqm. The facility is expected to support higher production volumes and the development of personal and skincare products targeting different age groups.
A key focus of the expansion is Toffee Kids, Semak Pharma’s hair and skincare brand for children. The product range includes formulations featuring ingredients such as shea butter, jojoba oil, almond oil and olive oil, alongside products designed for daily hair and skin care.
The current portfolio comprises two shampoo formulations: one containing jojoba oil for all hair types and another containing shea butter for dry or curly hair. It also includes conditioner, hair masks, detangling creams, hair oils and a glycerin-based body wash designed for newborns.
Semak Pharma also plans to introduce an updated product line in early 2027, specifically developed for infants from birth, as part of its efforts to expand its offerings in the children’s personal care segment.
The company aims to combine increased manufacturing capacity with a wider pharmacy distribution network to strengthen its market presence and support the growth of locally manufactured personal care products in Egypt.
