CAIRO: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), in co-ordination with the President of The British University in Egypt (BUE), Professor Mostafa El Feki, has recently held its third blood donation campaign on BUE campus.
The BUE blood donation, which is a part of a national campaign, has had outstanding results. The BUE students have demonstrated an amazing empathy with the event.
By organizing this campaign, the university aims to foster awareness of exigency requisites among the BUE students and enhance their interaction with public demand and their sense of existence as responsible citizens, a university statement said.
BUE aims at graduating future leaders for this country, who are not only academically distinguished, but also socially committed, the statement continued.
Following the campaign that lasted for four hours, the MoHP officials highly applauded the enthusiasm and commitment of the BUE community.
“The BUE students comfortably set up a glaring example of commitment and social responsibility for all students to follow, a ministry statement said.
