JADEER Group has signed a new hotel management agreement with IHG Hotels & Resorts to launch its second Hotel Indigo property in Egypt, marking the brand’s first entry into the New Administrative Capital. The hotel will form part of a forthcoming mixed-use development that JADEER Group plans to introduce in the near future.

This agreement represents the second collaboration between the two parties, following their earlier Hotel Indigo project in New Cairo.

Mahmoud Abou El Khair, Chairperson of JADEER Group, said the new property will feature approximately 140 rooms. Under the agreement, IHG Hotels & Resorts will manage and operate the hotel while JADEER Group retains ownership.

The announcement follows the launch of RED G on New Cairo’s North 90th Street — a mixed-use development comprising serviced apartments, administrative offices, retail spaces, and a standalone 120-room Hotel Indigo property operated by IHG.

The upcoming Hotel Indigo Cairo – New Capital is expected to adopt the brand’s signature concept, which emphasizes reflecting the cultural and local identity of each destination through design and guest experience.

JADEER Group operates through two subsidiaries: Grow Contracting and Pantera for Design & Finishing. The company has delivered over 75 residential and commercial projects, with total investments exceeding EGP 8bn. Its current expansion plan includes five additional mixed-use developments, with investments approaching EGP 20bn. Key projects include OBEX in the Financial District of the New Capital, CODE in Downtown New Capital, GARNET on North 90th Street in New Cairo, and RED G in New Cairo.

IHG Hotels & Resorts described the agreement as part of its strategy to expand its luxury and lifestyle portfolio in Egypt, particularly in the New Administrative Capital, which is emerging as a hub for government and business activities.

Haitham Mattar, Managing Director for India, the Middle East and Africa at IHG, said Egypt remains a priority market for the group. He noted that the Hotel Indigo brand aligns with the evolving urban environment of the New Capital, catering to both business and leisure travellers.

The agreement builds on the companies’ previous collaboration with Hotel Indigo Cairo – New Cairo, further extending JADEER Group and IHG’s partnership in the Egyptian market.
