Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation and Governor of Egypt to the World Bank Group (WBG), met with Ajay Banga who is running for the WBG president, in a virtual call on Wednesday morning.
Al-Mashat expressed Egypt’s support to Banga’s candidacy.
During the call, Al-Mashat and Banga discussed the World Bank Group’s evolution and vision, and highlighted the realities facing developing and emerging economies.
