Talaat Moustafa Holding Group (TMG), the leading real estate and tourism development group, announced the signing of a strategic partnership with Schneider Electric, the world’s leading company in the field of energy management and digital transformation.

The partnership aims to provide the latest technological solutions in the construction of infrastructure and facilities management for the Noor City project, near the New Administrative Capital. This comes in line with the application of sustainability standards, and the preservation of the environment.

This came on the sidelines of the participation of TMG in the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change COP27, held in Sharm El-Sheikh until November 18. The partnership agreement was signed by Hisham Talaat Moustafa, CEO and Managing Director of Talaat Moustafa Group, and Sebastien Riez, President, Schneider Electric, North East Africa and Levant.

Under this partnership, TMG will apply and integrate Schneider Electric technologies and solutions in the operations of managing infrastructure systems and facilities, especially electricity, water, traffic, data centres and control centres, in the Noor CITY Project, the group’s latest integrated urban project. This will contribute to rationalizing the consumption of energy, maximizing natural resources, preserving the environment and reducing polluting emissions.

Hisham Talaat Moustafa, CEO and Managing Director of TMG, expressed his happiness to sign the strategic partnership with Schneider Electric, which is one of the leading companies in the field of energy management and digital transformation. He added that following sustainability standards positively reflects on the quality of services provided to residents and visitors.

Hisham Talaat pointed out that the Noor project is a unique model for modern and future housing, due to the advanced technologies that the city includes that take into account the highest international standards in the planning and implementation of smart cities and the applications of sustainability elements.

Nour City is the latest urban project for the Talaat Moustafa Group on an area of ​​5,000 feddan. The project enjoys a smart life system ahead of its time with the latest technological technologies and provides its residents with privacy, and is equipped with an infrastructure that meets all the needs of the future and represents a new level of modern housing with integrated services, amid vast green spaces. It applies the latest smart and sustainable city standards and provides the highest levels of security through artificial intelligence applications for surveillance cameras, smart lighting and smart home services.

The internal road network in Noor City has been designed to smooth and streamline traffic for many years, in addition to managing all operations and maintenance of the city through an intelligent control centre for management and follow-up.

For his part, Riez said: “We are proud to cooperate with the Talaat Moustafa Group, which is one of the largest real estate developers in Egypt, to implement programs and initiatives to enhance environmental sustainability and raise the efficiency of infrastructure facilities management. In the largest real estate projects developed by the group, which confirms the group’s keenness to use the latest technologies in managing its smart cities, adding that this partnership is a testament to the effectiveness of Schneider’s solutions, and its contribution to creating a better environment and future for all.”

Ahmed Madkour, Vice President of Industry Business – Schneider Electric, North East Africa and the Arab Levant, stressed the importance of signing a strategic partnership with TMG. He explained that with the tremendous development witnessed by the world today, the need to adopt advanced technical solutions is increasing both in Smart buildings or on a larger scale through smart cities to reach the highest rates of consumption efficiency, achieve sustainability goals and address the phenomenon of climate change.
