Financial Group tops brokerage market in 2021, with EGP 103.88bn worth transactions

The Financial Brokerage Group topped the financial intermediary companies’ transactions on the Egyptian Exchange in 2021 by executing transactions worth EGP 103.879bn, representing about 11.2% of the total Egyptian market transactions.

The Commercial International Brokerage Company maintained its runner-up position by recording total transactions worth EGP 93.006bn, securing a market share of 10% of the total stock exchange transactions.

Hermes Securities Brokerage ranked third, with a market share of 7.7%, for transactions worth EGP 71.095bn during 2021.

Al Ahly Pharos Securities Brokerage ranked fourth for transactions that represented about 6% of the total market trading during the past year, by executing transactions worth EGP 55.67bn.

Beltone Securities Brokerage came in fifth place by executing transactions worth EGP 54.986bn, equivalent to about 5.9% of the total transactions on the stock exchange during the year.

Pioneers Securities recorded a market share of 5.4%, which ranked sixth on the list of the top 10 players in the stock market by executing transactions worth EGP 49.855bn, followed by Arqaam in the seventh place, with a market share of 4.7%, representing transactions worth EGP 43.755bn.

Arabeya Online Securities ranked eighth, with a market share of 3.9%, by executing transactions worth EGP 36.222bn during the past year.

Mubasher International for Securities ranked ninth, executing total transactions worth EGP 36.193bn, with a market share of 3.9%.

HC Brokerage managed to remain on the top 10 list, by executing transactions worth EGP 26.029bn, with a market share of 2.8%.
