CIBC leads brokerage ranking in August 2021 with 18.7% market share

The Commercial International Brokerage Company (CIBC) topped the ranking of brokerage firms on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) in August 2021, with total transactions of EGP 20.566bn, securing a market share of 18.7%.

Hermes Securities Brokerage came in second place with a market share of 7.3%, through a trading value ​​of EGP 8.093bn.

Beltone Securities Brokerage came third with a market share of 6.6%, through total transactions worth EGP 7.25bn.

In fourth place, Pioneers Securities had a market share of 5.1% and a trading value ​​of EGP 5.626bn.

As for the Financial Brokerage Group, it came fifth through transactions amounting to EGP 5.335bn, with a market share of 4.8%.

Moreover, Mubasher International for Securities acquired 4.2% of the market operations, with a total trading value of EGP 4.596bn, which brought it to the sixth place.

Arabeya Online for Securities Brokerage ranked seventh after achieving a trading value of EGP 3.796bn, securing a market share of 3.4%.

Tycoon Securities ranked eighth, with transactions of EGP 2.968bn, and a market share of 2.7%, followed by HC Brokerage with a market share of 2.4% and total transactions of EGP 2.597bn.

Sigma Capital Securities Brokerage ranked 10th in the Egyptian market with transactions amounting to EGP 2.445bn, accounting for 2.2% of the market.
