Egypt’s Minister of Public Enterprises Sector Hisham Tawfik has witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between his ministry and BasharSoft company which specialises in electronic solutions for employment.

BasharSoft owns the two recruitment sites, Wuzzuf and Forasna, two of the largest employment platforms in Egypt and the region, with more than one million visitors per month. The platforms are the best choice for job seekers, as well as business owners.

The protocol stipulates that Forasna and Wuzzuf will help companies under the Ministry’s umbrella to recruit the individuals they need. This will ensure the growth and development of these companies.

The protocol also aims to assist workers and former employees of companies who would like to benefit from the services of the websites.

Amr Kamal Hozayen, Advisor to the Ministry of Public Enterprises Sector for Human Resources Development, said that the cooperation protocol comes as part of the ministry’s keenness to attract the best professional employees.

This will also allow them to hire more competent individuals, whilst relying on technological solutions to enhance employment opportunities, which would positively affect the performance of companies.

For his part, Ameer Sherif, founding partner and CEO of BasharSoft, expressed his pleasure with signing the cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Public Enterprises Sector.

He added that this cooperation confirms the confidence in BasharSoft as a company, not only from the private sector but also the Egyptian government. He noted that the role the company seeks to play includes announcing all jobs offered by the companies affiliated with the ministry on BasharSoft’s recruitment platforms.

BasharSoft will also create a special page for the Ministry of Enterprises Sector on Forasna and Wuzzuf, to include all the jobs from the ministry and its subsidiary companies.

“Our main task is to work side-by-side with the Egyptian government to reduce the burden on them to provide suitable job opportunities, whether for youth or other age groups,” Sherif said.

He added that his company wants to contribute to solving the unemployment crisis, in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
