Hermes leads brokerage ranking in November with EGP 7.4bn trading value

Hermes Securities Brokerage has advanced two positions to acquire the lead on the Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) brokerage ranking during November.

The company’s newly acquired top status comes after it gained a 10.6% market share of total transactions, with a trading value of EGP 7.4bn. Moreover, the Financial Brokerage Group came in second, with a trading value of EGP 4.7bn, holding a 6.8% market share in November.

Pharos Securities fell to third place, with a market share of 5.9%, and transactions amounting to EGP 4.1bn. Beltone Securities Brokerage came in fourth, with a market share of 4.9% and a trading value of EGP 3.4bn.

The Commercial International Brokerage Company (CIBC) fell to fifth place, with transactions amounting to EGP 3.3bn. It held a 4.8% market share through the implementation of 70,426 transactions.

In sixth place, Pioneers Securities gained a market share of 4.3%, and transactions worth EGP 3bn. It was followed by Arabeya Online Securities in seventh place, with transactions amounting to EGP 2.4bn and a market share of 3.5%.

Mubasher International for Securities settled in eighth place, with transactions amounting to EGP 2.3bn. It was followed by Arqaam Securities Brokerage in ninth place, retreating one position, with transactions amounting to EGP 2.29bn. Both companies held an equal market share of 3.3%.

Sigma Securities Brokerage ranked 10th, with transactions amounting to EGP 2.2bn and a market share of 3.1%.
