Pharos Holding appoints Noha El-Ghazaly as its new managing director, head of investment banking

Pharos Holding for Financial Investments announced Saturday the appointment of Noha El-Ghazaly as managing director and head of investment banking, replacing Sherif Abdel Aal.

“I am pleased that Ms El-Ghazaly is joining our team, especially in this crucial point of expansion in Pharos’s journey. I have every confidence in her ability to lead our investment banking team to new successes,” Elwy Taymour, chairperson and CEO of Pharos Holding, commented.

El-Ghazaly has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services and investment banking fields. Prior to joining Pharos Holding, she served as executive director at HC Securities & Investment’s investment banking division, and a board member at HC Brokerage.

Aladdin El-Afifi, managing director and co-CEO at Pharos Holding, commented on the appointment, saying that he is very pleased with it, and that he looks forward to working with El-Ghazaly, to lead the investment banking team to new heights of achievement and professionalism in the Egyptian and regional financial markets.

El-Ghazaly led and participated in the successful completion of 15 transactions worth $1.1bn, and also has a proven track record of achievements in advisory services on several acquisitions, divestitures, capital increases, debt raising, secondary public offerings, and corporate restructuring.
