Proton withdraws from AMIC monthly report

The Malaysian brand Proton sold 158 cars in the first seven months of the year, with no sales in May, June, and July. The carmaker has stopped declaring its sales to the Automotive Marketing Information Council (AMIC) monthly report.

Gen-2 sold the most units at 107 cars worth EGP 17m, followed by Persona selling 51 cars worth EGP 8.1m.

Proton sold 158 cars during the first four months of the year, achieving sales estimated at EGP 25.2m.
