Emirates Airlines will be offering three additional regular flights weekly between Dubai and Cairo starting on 1 January 2016.

The new weekly flights will offer 12 seats in First Class, 42 in Business Class, and 183 in Economy Class. The additional flight, EK926, will depart Cairo on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturday at 00:35 and arrive in Dubai at 06:15. “In the past eight years, the route has carried over 2.7 million passengers and moved over 200,000 tonnes of cargo,” Senior Vice President Commercial Operations for Northern and Western Africa Adil Al Ghaith said.

“Dubai offers something for virtually all travelers and has quickly become a global destination for both business and leisure travel. Families can enjoy a plethora of family-friendly hotels and attractions including larger than life theme and water parks.”

With the additional flights, there will be a total of 17 flights weekly, offering more connection options to its passengers to and from Cairo to an endless number of destinations in the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas.

Moreover, the sky-cargo will increase to carry an additional 17 tonnes of cargo per trip, including perishables, automotive spare parts, pharmaceutical products, personal objects, and electronics.
