National Holding Company invests EGP 1.3 billion in Arab Countries

The National Holding Company reported Saturday the contract values for its two affiliated companies, El-Nasr Company for Contractors and the Egyptian Contractors Company, amounted to EGP 1.363 billion in Arab countries, during the 2011-2012 fiscal year.

According to the Holding company’s report, El-Nasr’s contracts in Sudan are valued at EGP 288.961 million. El-Nasr contractors are carrying out 31 construction projects in Sudan including road construction projects, bridges, sewage systems and residential towers, with contracts running from September 2011 to March 2014.

El-Nasr contractors also signed contracts valued at EGP 1.7 billion for the construction of the Tokar-Garorah road within 42 days, of which EGP 671 million is financed by the Kuwaiti Development Fund; and El-QadareffAbou El-Naga project which will commence in a month and will be finalised within 36 months, costing EGP 400 million.

The contracts of the Egyptian Contractors Company and their operations in the UAE are valued at EGP 526.35 million. The company was awarded the contract for the construction of a water distribution network, costing EGP 369.6 million.
