CIB launches free financial inclusion training programme on Udemy

The Commercial International Bank (CIB) – Egypt has launched a free training programme on Udemy aimed at enhancing young people’s understanding of financial inclusion and its role in supporting economic development and digital transformation. The programme is part of efforts to promote financial literacy in line with the state’s efforts in this area.

The launch reflects the banking sector’s role in advancing financial inclusion, in line with the directives of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), Egypt Vision 2030, and the Sustainable Development Goals. The programme offers comprehensive content on the role of financial services in improving people’s lives, supporting small businesses, and encouraging saving and investment.

It also focuses on financial literacy and its contribution to economic stability, as well as financial inclusion as a tool for reducing poverty and expanding access to formal financial services.

Additionally, the programme highlights the CBE’s role and its focus on the importance of financial technology and digital services in reshaping the financial landscape. It also addresses customer protection and the empowerment of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The launch ceremony was attended by a number of senior executives and officials from CIB and the CBE, including Omar El-Husseiny, Group Chief Executive Officer of Financial Markets; Yasser Abdella, Deputy CEO of Retail Banking and Financial Inclusion; Mohamed El-Sennary, Head of Human Resources; and Sally Abdel Kader, General Manager of the CBE’s Financial Literacy Department.

The training programme targets students, young professionals, bankers, and entrepreneurs. The initiative further underscores CIB Egypt’s position as a leading banking brand committed to empowering young people and promoting their inclusive participation in the financial system.
