In line with the CBE’s directive, which aims at enhancing the level of financial inclusion in Egypt, EG Bank organised a workshop at Cairo University to raise awareness among the youth on the importance of financial inclusion.

The workshop educated the youth on how they could benefit from the financial products offered by official financial institutions. These products include saving accounts; current accounts; payment, transfer, insurance, funding and credit services; and other products and various financial services.

The EG Bank workshop also raised awareness on the importance of financial inclusion in servicing the economy and achieving financial stability in the country, in addition to the opportunities presented to the youth, such as enabling funding to small, medium, and micro enterprises.

Additionally, the EG Bank workshop included the methods of achieving financial inclusion through enabling financial services to reach different community groups, whether institutions or individuals, and enabling community groups to use these services in the best quality and at reasonable prices.

The workshop witnessed great interaction from students, especially when EG Bank presented its pioneering experience that relies on the youth to lead and develop the bank to become the fastest growing one in Egypt.

The bank also presented its future plans to offer unprecedented services for the youth through new financial products that depend on saving and advanced payment methods.

During the workshop, EG Bank announced that its next workshop will be at the October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) on 3 May 2017 to continue raising awareness on the importance of utilising financial services to achieve financial inclusion.
