The Commercial International Bank-Egypt (CIB) sponsored the celebration of the International Museum Day. The bank also honoured the best activities and museum exhibitions in Egyptian museums. CIB’s sponsorship is considered the first of its kind in the banking sector, according to a bank statement.
The celebration was held in the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, and organised by the National Egyptian Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM Egypt) in cooperation with Ministry of Antiquities.
During the celebration, young teams and significant figures of different specialisations in this field were honoured. Minister of Antiquities, Mamdouh El-Damaty, and the Head of ICOM Egypt, Hussein Elshaboury, attended the celebration.
