Housing Minister meets MPs to discuss citizens’ demands, development priorities

Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Randa El-Menshawy, met with members of the House of Representatives to review citizens’ demands and discuss key development files, joined by senior ministry officials and affiliated executive bodies.

The meeting reflects ongoing coordination between the executive and legislative branches, aimed at improving service delivery and advancing national development plans.

El-Menshawy emphasized the ministry’s commitment to maintaining open channels of communication with parliament, noting that such cooperation is vital to addressing citizens’ needs across governorates. She stressed that the current phase requires unified efforts and teamwork to serve the public interest, particularly as MPs represent diverse segments of society.

She explained that the session is part of a series of regular engagements with both the House of Representatives and the Senate, designed to listen to constituency demands and work toward effective solutions. The minister affirmed the ministry’s full support, through its agencies and bodies, to resolve issues directly impacting citizens and enhance the quality of services in cities and urban communities nationwide.
