The festival of Eid Al-Adha, also called the Feast of Sacrifice or the Greater Bairam, is one of two important religious holidays celebrated by Muslims worldwide; it comes about 70 days after Eid Al-Fitr, the second most important feast which celebrates the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. Al-Adha starts on day 10 of Dhu-Al-Hijja, the twelfth month of the Islamic Hijri calendar, and ends on the 13th.
