DAMAC Properties has officially opened a sales office in Cairo and unveiled its new master development, DAMAC Islands 2, during a high-profile event at the Grand Egyptian Museum overlooking the Pyramids of Giza.

Hosted by Amira Sajwani, Managing Director of DAMAC Properties, the event brought together investors, media representatives, brokers, and other guests, who were given an exclusive first look at DAMAC Islands 2—a Dubai community inspired by eight tropical island destinations. The project follows the success of DAMAC Islands 1, which sold out in 2024, generating AED 10bn in sales within just 24 hours, according to the company.

Sajwani highlighted that Egyptians are among the top ten nationalities purchasing DAMAC homes, with sales in Egypt recording double-digit growth. She said the new Cairo office is intended to enhance communication with clients and strengthen links between the Egyptian and Dubai markets.

In the first half of 2025, DAMAC reported 4,185 villa and townhouse sales at DAMAC Islands and 1,942 sales at DAMAC Hills 2. Since their respective launches, price appreciation has reached 86% for DAMAC Hills 1 townhouses, 72% for villas, 60% for DAMAC Hills 2 townhouses, and 29% for DAMAC Islands villas.

DAMAC Islands 2 will feature a range of residential options, including six-bedroom villas (approximately 583 sqm), five-bedroom twin villas (324 sqm), five-bedroom townhouses (263–293 sqm), and four-bedroom townhouses (203 sqm), with prices starting from AED 2.7m.

The company also announced a global competition titled “The Ultimate Islander,” which will offer one winner the chance to live and work on one of DAMAC’s eight islands.
