Karem Badawi, Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, met with Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, in Abu Dhabi to discuss expanding cooperation in the energy sector. The meeting is part of Egypt’s broader strategy to enhance regional and international energy collaboration, aiming to secure resources and leverage Egypt’s infrastructure as a key energy hub in the region.
The two ministers explored a wide range of cooperation opportunities within the energy sector, reaffirming their mutual commitment to strengthening bilateral ties. They emphasized the importance of utilizing each country’s strengths and capabilities to foster regional energy integration. To further this goal, the ministers agreed to establish a joint working group, consisting of representatives from both ministries, to share best practices and build on each country’s successful initiatives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Minister Badawi extended an invitation to Minister Al Mazrouei to visit Egypt, further cementing the growing partnership between the two nations in the energy sector.
