The meeting explored ways to form a strategic partnership and cooperation in various fields of advanced healthcare, such as remote medical consultations, second opinion consultants, medical tourism, and health investment in Egypt.

ElSobky mentioned the study of signing a cooperation protocol with IMM to improve medical cooperation and exchange in treating patients, and scientific cooperation to share experiences and enhance the efficiency of health service providers in oncology and heart diseases and surgeries. He also discussed the aspiration to establish a coordinating platform “HUP” for this purpose.

ElSobky emphasized the Healthcare Authority’s interest in encouraging health investment, strengthening partnerships with the private sector, and expanding its presence in Arab and African countries and the world, following the Egyptian state’s directions.

He invited IMM representatives, experts, and medical consultants to visit the Authority’s health facilities in the governorates during their visits to Egypt and to witness the high-level medical and non-medical capabilities and equipment, and the automation and digital transformation of services.

The chairperson of the authority invited IMM representatives to join the International Medical Tourism Conference, which will be held under the patronage of President of Egypt Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, in Sharm El-Sheikh in South Sinai on 7 March.

IMM representatives expressed their full readiness and optimism to enhance Egyptian-French cooperation in various fields of advanced healthcare in the coming period.
