Following the massive success of the previous 14 editions, Creative Industry Summit is cementing its 15th round with a regional flavor as it introduces the first regional edition in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in partnership with Riyadh Chamber of Commerce’s Advertising Committee. Set to take place from 30th October until 1st of November at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, the summit will witness the participation of elite speakers from the Kingdom and the region, with daily workshops and panel discussions. The Summit is also hosting an inaugural Cocktail Reception that will bring together businessmen, thought leaders, decision makers and public figures from Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Mai Salama, Founding Partner of Creative Industry Summit said, “We are honored of our partnership with Riyadh Chamber of Commerce to bring to light the Summit’s first regional edition and host it in Saudi Arabia. The summit will discuss advertising, marketing and communications by hosting a pool of talents and renowned executive figures from Saudi Arabia and Egypt in different creative fields namely; advertising, marketing, communications, NFTs, digital media and content.”

Salama added that the summit aims to provide a platform for industry experts to come together and exchange knowledge, share their expertise, open new cooperation channels through a series of panel sessions, workshops and exhibitions. The summit also provides an opportunity to get to meet and connect with leading advertising companies and influential figures in the Saudi market.

“This Saudi-Egyptian cooperation in the advertising sector is an important step to encourage cooperation in the fields of organizing creative ceremonial events, by organizing conferences, speaking platforms, workshops, exhibitions, and innovative exhibitions as well as developing and exchanging ideas between creative experts from both countries and building capacity through joint events,” she highlighted.

Head of the Advertising Committee for the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Mohamed bin Abdulelah Al-Khereiji, said that the summit is pivotal to the advertising industry, which is witnessing substantial growth in the Kingdom. “The summit will bring together industry experts, with the aim of creating an in-depth understanding of the industry, expanding the culture of creativity, and highlighting investment opportunities in the sector with reputable experts from the Kingdom and Egypt,” Al-Khereiji mentioned.

As a testament of open dialogue from all industry players, the summit is also set to contribute to the advancement of the advertising industry by sharing key insights, visions and recommendations to pave the way forward. It will also present successful international models in the field of advertising and marketing.

Through the summit, which sheds the light on the concept of creative economy, the Advertising Committee seeks to keep pace with the transformations happening in the advertising sector. This comes in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, by expanding the scope of cooperation with companies locally, regionally and globally, and attracting prominent leaders in the creativity field worldwide, to exchange experiences and put forward discussions about the industry.

This edition, Creative Industry Summit presents a number of activities and workshops where advertising experts in leading companies, content designers, directors and influential figures will speak. The workshops will discuss topics such as “How to Crack a Creative Brief”, “Creating Impactful Brands in the Middle-East”, “Public Speaking”, “How to Fight Purpose Fatigue and Learn People-First Brand”.

Launched in 2014, Creative Industry Summit is the first and only platform in Egypt that specializes in creative industries; attracting hundreds of prominent specialists from all over the world on annual basis. For more than 8 years with 15 events and conferences, the summit enriched the creative aspect of participants and provided experiences to young people to create eligible calibers with creative minds who are capable of advancing their industries and keeping pace with the developments and breakthroughs in creative industries.
