Egypt’s Bibliotheca Alexandrina inaugurated, on 24 June, the 14th edition of its “Agenda” exhibition, which will take place in the eastern and western exhibition halls of the library’s Conference Center.

Exhibition Director Gamal Hosny said that this year’s edition will be attended by 187 artists from across Egypt, who will display visual artwork of different media, such as photography, mosaic, sculpture, ceramics, painting, engraving, video art, and printing, among others.

Due to the circumstances imposed by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the exhibition hall will only be operating at 50% of its capacity at any given time.

The exhibition is set to run until 10 July, with the space open every day from 9 am to 5 pm except for Fridays.

The artists participating in this edition will present their artwork provided that the works have not been previously shown in any exhibition at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

It is noteworthy that the annual exhibition gathers together a group of plastic artists of different ages and experiences to display their works and artistic experiences.
