Foreign Ministry follows investigations into Egyptian teacher’s murder in Saudi Arabia

Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is closely following investigations into the murder of Egyptian teacher Hani Abdel Tawab Saad in Saudi Arabia.

Ambassador Amr Abbas, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Consular Affairs and Egyptians Abroad, said that the Egyptian Consulate General in Riyadh has been communicating and coordinating with the concerned Saudi authorities over the case.

The consulate is looking to expedite the procedures necessary to transport the teacher’s body back to Egypt as soon as possible.

It is also monitoring the progress of investigations related to his death, and is working to ensure that the deceased’s family obtains their rights.
