Egypt, BiH discuss strengthening cooperation in tourism, antiquities sector

Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled Al-Anani met, on Monday, with Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) to Cairo Siddiq Sepahic, to discuss strengthening joint cooperation in the field of tourism and antiquities.

During the meeting, they agreed to exchange experiences in the field of antiquities restoration and museums, especially as BiH has wide experience in restoring Islamic antiquities.

Both officials also discussed the preparation of a memorandum of understanding to boost tourism between the two countries.

For his part, Ambassador Sepahic congratulated Al-Anani on the new archaeological discovery in the Saqqara Necropolis which was announced on Saturday, stressing that Egypt always dazzles the world with its great ancient civilization.
