PM Madbouly follows up on Giza development projects

Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly discussed with Giza Governor Ahmed Rashed the updates of some development projects in the governorate.

According to a Thursday statement, the projects are the development of Giza Corniche, Giza Corniche gardens, and Munib Square.

The developments include building 4-lane streets, parking lots, green areas, and bike and walking lanes.

Additionally, new bus lines, parks, and commercial shops will be launched.

Giza Governor said as part of the fiscal year 2020/21 paving plan, the governorate will resurface 394.9km of roads at a total cost of EGP 1.2bn.

With regard to countering building violations, Rashed said that from September 2018 to 15 June 2020, the governorate has recorded 22,500 building violations, of which 14,751 cases have been removed.
