DOJA contracts with JLL to provide advisory services to Aurora project

Doja Developments has signed a cooperation protocol with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) to provide advisory services to Aurora project in the New Administrative Capital (NAC).

Mahmoud Adel, Doja’s chairperson, said the contract includes providing JLL operational consultancy to the Aurora mall, identifying and distributing activities, and participating in determining the needs of customers and the requirements of international companies regarding the specifications of the units. It also includes consultation on the operation of the mall after delivery.

The project is located in the MU23 area in the NAC and includes 6,300-sqm sales and leasing area. It also consists of three basements and a ground floor as well as nine floors for administrative, commercial, and medical units with investments worth EGP1.2bn, Adel disclosed.

He explained that the first and second floors of the project are allocated for commercial units, the third to the sixth floors will be allocated for medical units, while the seventh to the ninth floor will be administrative units with spaces starting from 45 sqm. Besides, there are distinctive panorama units on three facades with areas of 190 sqm.

Adel noted that the company has completed the drilling work and is awaiting the issuance of licenses to begin implementing and allocating about EGP 60m to construction works within a year, to be delivered within two and a half years.

“The company has marketed 60% of the project since its launch for sale and seeks to attract more international brands through cooperation with JLL, which manages and markets a group of the largest commercial centres around the world,” he elaborated.

The design of the project is supervised by Raef Fahmi Architects- RFA, while Mito Consult office is responsible for the interior design of utilities networks, water treatment and firefighting,” he added.

The company is studying the development of a number of projects during the coming period and has serious negotiations with one of the companies to develop 60 feddan in one of the new cities, as well as studying the development of another project in the NAC, he concluded.
