Egypt to host Novavera’s 1st football factory in Middle East

Novavera Sport is set to open its first football factory in the Middle East in early July at the 6th of October industrial zone.

Mahmoud Al-Assiouty, the Chairperson of the company, told Daily News Egypt that ” Novavera” owns the brand “Tempo Sport” which is licensed by the European Union (EU) for all sports industries. The balls to be produced by the factory will be certified by FIFA.

 

The factory will produce its first batch of footballs before the start of the next football season.

 

Al-Assiouty estimated the project’s investments at EGP 50m over three years, through a partnership between Al-Assiouty Sport and Master Sports.

He added that the production capacity of the factory will reach 1m balls in the first year and will increase to 5m within five years.

He added that the company will take into account meeting the needs of the Egyptian market, whether in the Premier League clubs, youth centres, and academies.

Al-Assiouty said that the company will cover all governorates of Egypt with several agents and distribution outlets.

He pointed out that the factory will use high technology in the football manufacturing relying on 15 foreign experts and over 130 workers will be working on it.

He added that the company aims to fully cover the Arab and African market during the next five years after meeting the needs of the Egyptian market.
