The first edition of International Property Show (IPS), which was scheduled to be held in Egypt for the first time in November, was postponed to January 2019.

Walid Farghal, director general at Strategic Marketing and Exhibitions company, IPS organiser, said it will be held on 10 January 2019. This is due to the real estate conferences and exhibition agenda’s congestion, in Egypt during the fourth quarter of this year.

Additionally, Farghal elaborated that the decision to postpone holding the IPS came after consulting Egyptian and Arab real estate experts and developers who are participating in the exhibition.

He confirmed that the new date of the exhibition satisfied all participating parties. He stressed the desire of the company and its involved partners in the establishing of a real estate event befitting the interactions of the Egyptian real estate market, adding that “our partners also keen to achieve the best positive results of IPS.”

IPS Dubai has been held for over 15 years in Dubai.

Farghal pointed out that the Egyptian real estate market is promising and attractive for foreign investment.

Furthermore, he praised the important role played by the Egyptian government represented by the Ministry of Housing in supporting the real estate sector.

As for Mahmoud Abd Al Haleem, Chairman of Makanak Real Estate Club, IPS’s strategic partner for the second edition, he said that the first edition of IPS in Egypt, scheduled in January 2019, aims to meet clients’ needs in the Egyptian real estate market.
