Aramex, EG-GATE sign MoU to double export rates of Egyptian goods

Aramex, the provider of comprehensive logistics and transportation solutions, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the marketing and advertising company EG-GATE and one of Tahya Misr Fund’s companies to double and increase rates of exporting Egyptian goods to the world.

The MoU targets the activation of the national strategy for e-commerce through using the latest international technologies and advanced technological mechanisms of marketing arts, to facilitate the identification of local products and their delivery to all countries in the world, in cooperation with the ministries of communications and information technology, aviation, and tourism.

Under the signed memorandum, Aramex will provide special services to EG-GATE, including local and international supply services, as well as organising monthly training courses and workshops in its headquarters in cities of 6th of October and Alexandria.

Samer Gharaibeh, CEO of Aramex in Africa, said that his company is keen on delivering the Egyptian products to the clients in any place in the world.

Gharaibeh noted that his company intends to double its investments in Egypt, especially after the successful economic reforms taken by the Egyptian government.

For her part, Minas Ibrahim, CEO and managing director of EG-GATE, said that the agreement is part of a series of strategic agreements and partnerships that EG-GATE aims to establish in the coming short period, in order to ensure the preparation of an integrated e-commerce system for all Egyptian products to facilitate the manufacturers to export, in addition to ensuring the ease and speed of access of Egyptian products to all countries of the world.
