President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi called on investors and Vietnamese industrialists to invest in Egypt in all fields, stressing that the country is one of the highest in the world that investors are interested in investing in.

Al-Sisi welcomed Vietnamese investors and industrialists wishing to enter into economic partnerships in the industrial zones being established in Egypt.

During the Egyptian-Vietnamese Business forum, Al-Sisi gave his speech in a meeting that was organised by the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) in cooperation with the Federation of Vietnamese Chambers of Commerce (VCCI), with the participation of a number of senior Vietnamese officials, a group of Vietnamese and Egyptian businesspeople, and representatives of the VCCI to discuss ways of developing economic and trade cooperation between Egypt and Vietnam and to clarify the investment opportunities available in Egypt.

Al-Sisi added that Egypt has launched a number of mega-projects with high returns and diversified investment opportunities, foremost of which is the development of the Suez Canal region (SCZone). This includes the establishment of large industrial and logistic areas, which provides promising opportunities for Vietnamese companies wishing to benefit from Egypt’s strategic location as a production centre.
