The Commercial International Bank (CIB) Egypt received five international awards during the first half of the current year, according to a statement from the bank.
The Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) granted the bank the Team of the Year award, the first time ever for an Egyptian bank. Global Finance also granted the bank four awards: Best Trade Finance Bank in Egypt; Best Foreign Exchange Providers in Egypt; Best Bank in Egypt; and Best Sub-Custodian Bank 2015, according to the statement.
“These awards are a testament of the bank’s diverse and distinct services that are of great value to our customers. Furthermore, they prove the effectiveness and prosperous results of our strategy that solidifies our market leadership as the first Egyptian private bank owned by Egyptians,” said Hisham Ezz Al-Arab, CIB Chairman and Managing Director
“These awards are the results of efforts exerted by the team. It’s teamwork that has led to our outstanding success; expanding the bank’s network of branches, implementing the latest banking technology and continuously developing our financial activities and our contribution to the financial inclusion drive, especially as there are abundant opportunities across the Egyptian market,” added Ezz Al-Arab.
