Tourists killed in Beni Suef collision

Ten people were killed and approximately 30 others injured, including tourists, in a collision between a truck and a tourist bus on Tuesday in the Beni Suef governorate, the interior ministry said in a statement.

The bus, owned by a tourist company in the Upper Egyptian governorate of Qena, had 46 people on board when it collided with a truck and set ablaze. It was on its way from Luxor to Cairo.

The injured were admitted to the Beni Suef public hospital for treatment, the statement added.
