Ammar Al-Beltagy, son of prominent Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed Al-Beltagy, was arrested in Beni Suef with three others early Sunday morning, according to Ministry of Interior spokesman General Hany Abdel Latif.

“Al-Beltagy is charged with inciting violence and attacking police stations in Beni Suef,” he said.

State-owned news agency MENA reported that Tarek Abdel Aziz, Galal Youness, Mohamed Ibrahim and Mohamed Abdel Azim, all sons of prominent Brotherhood leaders, were arrested in the latter’s residence, along with Al-Beltagy.

Police have issued arrest warrants for Mohamed Al-Beltagy, whose daughter, Asmaa, was shot dead during the dispersal of the Rabaa Al-Adaweya sit-in.
